LITURGY TEAM

The Church of Epiphany Liturgy Team & respective responsibilities:

Epiphany’s Liturgy Team is “a work in progress”, currently pursuing significant self-evaluation and reorganization. We want to do more than what we presently do, that is, prepare and schedule ministers and provide appropriate decoration for the various liturgical seasons & feasts. We are studying and developing strategies for assessing all our liturgical needs and evaluating our current liturgical celebrations. We are seeking ways to help our entire Epiphany community to better understand the Mass and to encourage fuller, more active, and conscious participation. Our primary focus is Sunday Mass and the major liturgical seasons.

What are your thoughts & feelings about Epiphany’s Sunday worship? Do you sometimes wish you understood it better? Are there any changes you wish that you could make? Do you ever feel that you could participate more, but don’t quite know what to do about it?

Sunday Mass or Liturgy is literally “the work of the people”. It involves each of us in community, not as isolated individuals. It’s what we do TOGETHER as the Body of Christ to worship & praise our God. And so our Liturgy Team extends this invitation to you to assist us in working at making our Sunday liturgies more meaningful and spirited.
